UK snow: the best and worst airline mobile apps

While the Continental mobile app is available on iPhone and Android it neglects to be available on the Blackberry. However their mobile web service pda.continental.com is available on mobile web with a flight standby option tab.

3) KLM

KLM has a mobile app for iPhone and Blackberry but not for Android. Mobile web site mobile.klm.com is available but fails to provide any information for stranded customers.

3) = Air France

Airfrance is a similar story, again an app for iPhone and BlackBerry and mobile web at mobile.airfrance.com but no information for stranded customers.

4) Virgin

There is a Virgin app for iPhone but nothing for BlackBerry or Android. Mobile web mobile.virginatlantic.com is available but again with no information for stranded passengers.

4) = Easyjet

4) =American Airlines

Easyjet and American Airlines also have apps for iPhone but nothing with BlackBerry or Android. Mobile web m.easyjet.com and mobile.aa.com are available with flight status but with no information for stranded customers.

4) = United Airlines

Neither Delta nor United Airlines have an app for iPhone, BlackBerry or Android but mobile web mobile.delta.com and mobile.united.com with flight newsand information for passengers to check spaces is available.

5) US Airways

US Airways has two mobile web services mobile.usablenet.com and mt/www2/usairways.com but no app for iPhone, BlackBerry or Android. Neither mobile web service has information for stranded passengers.

6) Aer Lingus

6) = RyanAir

At the bottom of the table is Aer Lingus and RyanAir, both of which have no mobile service and no app. Stranded passengers will simply have to turn up and pray.
