Airline Chiefs Wager Online Over AFC Title Game Posted: 21 Jan 2011 09:46 PM PST POSTED: 9:02 pm MST January 21, 2011 UPDATED: 10:38 pm MST January 21, 2011 PHOENIX -- One tweet is all it took.A friendly Twitter challenge from JetBlue to USAirways has produced a unique bet between the airlines over the outcome of this Sunday's AFC Championship football game.New York-based JetBlue is rooting for a Jets win and has challenged US Airways CEO Doug Parker to wear a little Jets green if the team beats the Steelers.Arizona-based USAirways has a huge operational control center in Pittsburgh and is a proud supporter of the hometown Steelers.They even have a Steelers painted jet in their fleet, along with an Arizona Cardinals jet.If the Steelers win, JetBlue CEO Dave Barger will wear a Steelers jersey.Pictures of the winner has been promised on their Twitter feeds.The AFC title game can be seen on CBS5 with coverage starting at 4 p.m. on Sunday.The Twitter accounts to follow for the outcome of the bet are @USAirways and @JetBlue .
