Delta Halting Service At Lynchburg Airport Posted: 28 Oct 2010 08:20 AM PDT LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) - Delta Airlines say it's ending service in Lynchburg after 16 years. The move was announced Wednesday and is effective in January. It means USAirways will be the only carrier at Lynchburg Regional Airport. Lynchburg Regional Airport Director Mark Courtney said he was shocked and disappointed by Delta's decision.
